I know it will be odd to read about "first day in class" in February, but sometimes you just can't make it when you want to. From the start, I had figured two possible sequels to Karen – Back to School. The first sequel is this story, "First Classes" and the other was "Term exam". Term exam never came through and First Classes fell into a dead-end.

 The story was about 70% written when I came into that dead-end and couldn't figure out how to end it. I had many ideas for stories, but not a darn one on how to end any of them.

 It dragged on and I put it aside.

A few days ago, I was re-reading it and, for some reason, it became obvious how it should go on and end, so I wrote it. Also, following suggestions from a reader, there was a great possible plot for the second sequel, totally different from the term exam plot. What is it? you'll find out in the story.

The nice part about unfinished story is that writing what's missing is a breeze and I have a new story to post in no time!
